Launching Duplicate Files Fixer

To start using the Duplicate Files Fixer, double-click Duplicate Files Fixer desktop icon. You will get the Home Screen of the product divided into different sections. From here, you can add folders, drag and drop files, decide which scan to perform, which area to scan, and exclude and protect folders.

Once you have added the folders to scan, click Scan for Duplicates to begin the scan process.

The All-Files mode will scan the selected area for all sorts of duplicates, whereas Custom Scan will give you a choice to select the file type you wish to scan.

If you want to specific duplicate files, we recommend using Custom Scan. However, go with All Files mode to eliminate all types of duplicate files taking up unnecessary space.
